On September 8th, a decade ago, GEM was born with limited resources and a big vision. Over the years, GEM has grown steadily and established itself in the domestic and international IT markets. This 10-year milestone is not only significant for us but also serves as a testament to our persistence and progress. To mark this achievement, we organized a series of exciting internal events throughout the month to create lasting memories together.

GEM Badminton Championship
This year, we launched the first-ever GEM Badminton Championship, a sport that has recently gained popularity among GEMers. Despite it being the inaugural season, we saw an overwhelming number of team registrations, making this one of the most highly anticipated events of the year.
After many intense rounds, the tournament concluded with the crowning of our first champions. With a sport loved by both male and female GEMers, we’re excited to see this championship grow in future seasons.

GEMPions League
The GEMPIONS League is an annual favorite at GEM, and this year was no exception. With four teams competing fiercely, the tournament delivered exciting matches and emotional highs for both players and supporters.
These events not only provide a space for team bonding but also allow us to unwind and pursue our passions beyond work.
League of Legends GEM Championship
Esports has become another cornerstone of GEM’s culture, with this year’s League of Legends GEM Championship drawing 35 players across 7 teams. The competition was intense, and after numerous thrilling matches, the Division 1 team once again emerged victorious.
“The Untold Story” Competition
In celebration of GEM’s 10th anniversary, we introduced The Untold Story competition to give GEMers an opportunity to reflect on their journey with the company and share their personal stories. This contest allowed for creative expression with no restrictions on the format or the number of participants, whether individual or group entries.
We were deeply touched by the heartfelt entries we received, which showcased the love and dedication GEMers have for their teams and the company.

Surprise gifts to GEMers
On the morning of September 6th, we surprised all GEMers with special gifts as a token of appreciation. We want to thank each of you for being an integral part of the GEM family, for overcoming challenges together, and for continuing to strive towards new heights!
Gala Dinner – “Go the Extra Mile”
Finally, on the evening of September 6th, we hosted a warm and intimate Gala Dinner for all GEMers. Originally, the event was planned with the presence of customers and partners, but due to the impact of Typhoon Yagi, the gathering was adjusted to focus on internal celebrations.
The evening kicked off with a heartfelt video highlighting key moments from GEM’s 10-year journey. Following that, CEO Ngo Khanh Hoang shared the company’s new vision for the next decade—to transform GEM into a truly global technology company. Hoang emphasized the importance of becoming competitive in target markets, not only through outsourcing but by deeply understanding customer preferences and market dynamics.
He also touched on GEM’s future growth, noting the significance of scaling up to a workforce of thousands to take on larger projects. Moreover, cultivating a sense of purpose and embedding the company’s vision within every GEMer will be crucial. Hoang ended with a powerful message: “Technology can make things more efficient, but to create something beautiful, technology must be intertwined with humanity and emotion.”
The night continued with exciting rewards for all GEMers, event winners, and a fun-filled mini-game that brought joy to everyone. It was a perfect and unforgettable celebration.
