LOCATION: Tokyo, Japan

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Application Development and Maintenance: Design, develop, and deploy custom applications and solutions on the ServiceNow platform based on business requirements. This includes developing workflows, forms, scripts, integrations, and other platform components.
  • Testing and Deployment: Perform various types of testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions. Coordinate and execute deployment activities, including the use of the Automated Test Framework (ATF).
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation covering ServiceNow applications, configurations, and business processes to ensure effective knowledge transfer and long-term maintainability.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of software development experience, including at least 1 year of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, covering the ServiceNow core platform and at least one advanced module, such as ITSM, HRSD, CSM, ITOM, ITAM, App Engine, or Workflow Data Fabric.
  • Hands-on experience customizing the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, GlideRecord, GlideForm, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS.
  • Japanese proficiency at JLPT N2 level or above, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in Japanese.
  • Additionally, at least ONE of the following is required. Candidates with more qualifications are preferred.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes and practical experience implementing them on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Agile/Scrum development and delivery frameworks, as well as related tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience in requirements definition and preparing basic design documentation.
