JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join GEM and support our growth in the Korean market through new client acquisition and long-term business development.
- Develop and execute business development strategies for the Korean market.
- Identify, approach, and acquire B2B clients for IT services and software outsourcing.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, solution pitching, proposal preparation, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and strategic partners.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and target accounts.
- Work closely with the Head of Sales (Korean Market), Delivery, and Engineering teams to develop tailored solutions for clients.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team on lead generation campaigns and brand awareness initiatives.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and pipeline forecasts in CRM systems.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 years of experience in Business Development or Sales within IT services, software outsourcing, or technology consulting.
- Proven experience selling to Korean or other international clients.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales, IT outsourcing, and offshore delivery business models.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Korean proficiency equivalent to TOPIK Level 5 or above (spoken and written).
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email outreach, CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), and other sales tools.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of software development, cloud, data, AI, or digital transformation services is a strong plus.
- Existing network or relationships with Korean enterprises is highly preferred.
