JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Technical Lead/Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in system design, backend architecture, and scalable systems, along with hands-on coding, technical leadership, and end-to-end delivery ownership
- Write high-quality code for complex, business-critical components across buyer-facing and seller-facing marketplace platforms.
- Design and develop scalable backend services, microservices, APIs, data pipelines, and distributed systems.
- Architect internal operations platforms, workflow automation solutions, KYC/compliance checks, and partner integrations.
- Make pragmatic technical decisions that balance delivery speed, reliability, security, and long-term scalability.
- Lead engineering teams through hands-on guidance, pair programming, and thorough code reviews while establishing engineering standards and fostering a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and quality.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and mentoring engineers from junior to senior levels.
- Translate product priorities into practical engineering roadmaps and resource plans.
- Own features end to end, from system design and development to deployment and post-launch monitoring.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security across distributed systems.
- Automate manual business workflows and streamline internal processes.
- Continuously improve development practices, including CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and DevOps workflows.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a Senior or Lead role with hands-on coding and technical coordination.
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, distributed systems and software design.
- Deep full-stack expertise across:
- React.js, Next.js and TypeScrip
- ASP.NET Core (C#) for microservices and backend API
- Relational database design, performance tuning and optimizatio
- AWS, containerization and Kubernetes in productio
- Unix/Linux CLI and engineering workflow
- RESTful and RPC microservices architecture
- Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with changing business requirements.
- Fluent English with excellent cross-functional communication skills.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience building B2B marketplaces, e-commerce, fintech or healthcare/pharma platforms.
- Knowledge of KYC, compliance and data privacy requirements in regulated industries.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS/SNS).
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and observability tooling (Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry).
- Experience scaling an engineering team in a startup or high-growth company.
