Middle/Senior DevOps Engineer

LOCATION: Hanoi / Ho Chi Minh

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to establish and maintain a reliable operational foundation for Edge AI platform.

Establish and maintain build and deployment automation.
Manage and maintain configuration and release processes.
Establish and maintain quality verification processes.
Establish the operational processes and practices required to support the platform on a permanent basis.
Develop, document, and maintain the related operational deliverables.
Collaborate closely with the Embedded team to support build, deployment, and operational activities.
Support the handover of the established processes, automation, and deliverables to the Client.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

3+ years of hands-on GitLab CI experience — the Client uses a self-managed GitLab Ultimate environment
Experience operating self-managed GitLab Runners — executor selection (shell / docker), dedicated runner tagging, concurrency control
Experience designing cache · artifacts for large builds — including operation of shared cache storage
Experience building parent-child pipelines and needs-based DAGs (per-domain matrix builds assumed)
Experience enforcing policy with protected branches/tags, CODEOWNERS, and approval rules
Docker and Kubernetes operations experience
Linux, Bash, Python scripting
Advanced Git operations experience (protected branches, tags, rebase, submodules, monorepo/LFS)
Artifact repository operations experience
Ability to analyze failures, interpret logs, and write operational runbooks and RCAs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

Embedded · firmware build automation, Yocto / OpenEmbedded, Buildroot, cross toolchains
Operation of KAS or repo manifests, reproducible builds (buildhistory)
Experience with the GitLab Compliance framework and pipeline execution policies
Experience with integrated builds of MCU firmware and Linux images
SBOM (SPDX · CycloneDX) and supply chain security tooling
OTA update systems, A/B partitions, device provisioning
Experience establishing a configuration management system (baselines, change management, configuration audits)

Salary: Upto 50M

Probation salary is 100% of official salary
