LOCATION: Hanoi

JOB DESCRIPTION 

  • Manage end-to-end software projects: planning, budgeting, resourcing, risk control, and quality assurance.
  • Coordinate with the Resource Manager, Sales, onshore and the client for resource staffing requests
  • Coordinate withthe  Technical Architect in project technical matters
  • Coordinate with the IT/Admin department for infrastructure setup if requested: network connectivity, office space, etc
  • Coordinate the QA team to define and tailor software development processes, train the team, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 & CMM standards
  • Coordinate with other project parties, such as clients, QA, QC, etc., to make sure that the projects meet clients’ requirements & satisfaction
  • Manage project budget via quotation and monthly timesheet
  • Build a cohesive, communicative team and foster collaboration
  • Prepare and deliver reports (weekly, monthly, ad-hoc) on team activities and project status
  • Approve leave requests and participate in performance evaluations (quarterly & annual)
  • Participate in client visit preparation and hosting, as well as pre-sales activities such as requirement gathering, estimation, and planning
  • Engage in internal workshops or soft skill training as required
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Board of Directors

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Software project management
  • Good English, both in writing and speaking
  • Strong knowledge and experience in both traditional project management principles and practices with an Agile development approach in the right proportions to fit each project level
  • Proven experience in project estimation, budget control, people management and risk management
  • Ability to provide constructive, timely feedback to delivery team members and negotiate priorities and timelines with stakeholders
  • Experience with Jira (or similar) and reporting tools
  • Strong interpersonal & leadership skills/ people development/ people motivation

  • Good technical background. 
  • Experience in leading project teams larger than 10 people 
  • High level of understanding of development techniques and technological trends 
  • Project management certification (PMP, CSM…) 
  • Drive, tenacity, client-focused and result-oriented

  • Flexible and adaptable, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
