JOB DESCRIPTION 

We’re looking for a Middle/Senior AI Engineer to join a fast-moving team building an AI Sales Assistant serving approximately 2,000 monthly active users.
This is a hands-on, full-time role with end-to-end ownership, from technical design and development to testing, deployment, and production optimization.

• Design, build, and enhance RAG pipelines and agentic / multi-agent AI systems.
• Develop and maintain production-grade services using TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, Python, and SQL/PostgreSQL.
• Integrate AI solutions with internal APIs, Azure, and Databricks.
• Implement LLM evaluation, tracing, observability, quality monitoring, and LLM-as-a-Judge.
• Optimize retrieval quality, prompt strategies, model performance, latency, and reliability.
• Take ownership of features end-to-end: design → build → test → deploy → monitor.
• Work closely with the DS/AI Manager on technical decisions, architecture, and roadmap delivery.
• Troubleshoot and continuously improve AI/backend systems in production.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying RAG pipelines, including: Embeddings, Vector search, Retrieval strategies, Retrieval tuning / optimization.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills, particularly PostgreSQL or equivalent.
• Proven experience shipping and maintaining production AI/backend systems.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience working with production codebases.
• Ability to work independently from written technical specifications and take ownership of deliverables.
• Good English communication skills.
• Portfolio, GitHub, or live demo demonstrating relevant AI/engineering work is required.

PREFERRED SKILLS 

• Experience with multi-agent / agentic AI systems.
• Experience with Azure / AKS.
• Experience with Databricks.
• Experience with LLM evaluation, observability, and monitoring.
• Experience in Fintech, Insurance, or other regulated industries.
• Knowledge of PII protection, data security, and AI security.
• Experience with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
