LOCATION: Hanoi

JOB DESCRIPTION 

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java/Spring Boot.
  • Participate in system design, technical solutioning, and architecture discussions.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs / Microservices with internal and external systems.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and engineering best practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Write unit tests, integration tests, and contribute to improving overall system quality.
  • Lead a development team and provide technical guidance to developers.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development with Java.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot / Spring Framework, and RESTful API development.
  • Solid experience in designing and developing microservices-based applications and distributed systems.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, Clean Code, and SOLID principles.
  • Experience developing and maintaining enterprise-scale applications and working with distributed systems.
  • Experience with Git and source code management.
  • Proven experience in leading technical tasks, mentoring junior/mid-level developers, and providing technical guidance within a development team.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Good understanding of software development best practices, code quality, and maintainable system design.
  • Strong English communication skills, with the ability to communicate directly with international clients and team members.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Experience in one or more of the following areas is a strong advantage:

  • Banking, FinTech, Payment, Digital Wallet, Lending, or Financial Services.
  • Development of high-volume, high-availability transaction systems.
  • Event-driven architecture and messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent.
  • Redis or other distributed caching technologies.
  • Docker / Kubernetes.
  • Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • CI/CD tools and practices, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
  • API Gateway, OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, or similar authentication and authorization technologies.
  • Application security and secure coding practices.
  • Monitoring and observability tools such as ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog.
  • Experience working with overseas customers or global delivery teams.
