[Tokyo] Bridge Software Engineer

LOCATION: TOKYO, JAPAN

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Work as a Bridge Engineer (BrSE) in an Agile development project;
  • Propose technical solutions to clients, including recommendations on software development approaches to meet their requirements;
  • Collaborate effectively with the Agile development team throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Understand client requirements, communicate and assign tasks to the offshore development team, and monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery.

REQUIRED

  • 5+ years of experience in IT;
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Web/Mobile application development;
  • Practical experience working with Public Cloud platforms, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, in real-world projects;
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders;
  • Japanese proficiency at N2 level or above;
  • Proven experience working as a Bridge System Engineer (BrSE).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with upstream processes, including requirements definition and basic system design;
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, PHP, .NET, etc.;
  • Experience developing mobile applications using technologies such as iOS, Android, React Native, etc.;
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC);
  • Experience creating requirements and basic design documents in Japanese;
  • Experience working on Agile development projects;
  • Ability to work across the full stack, including infrastructure;
  • Experience managing and coordinating offshore development teams.
