JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Design databases based on client business requirements.

  • Ensure data quality and data integrity.

  • Build data monitoring and alerting systems.

  • Integrate data from various application systems.

  • Write technical documentation for data pipelines and data architecture.

  • Automate data processing workflows.

  • Ensure data security and access control management.

  • Research new technologies to optimize system performance.

  • Support data analysis activities as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Solid understanding of Data Engineering and the data industry.

  • Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.

  • Hands-on experience with big data programming languages: Scala, Java, Python.

  • Practical experience working with databases (designing and analyzing large datasets).

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills

DESIRED SKILLS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus.

  • Professional certifications in Data Engineering are a plus.

  • Understanding of and hands-on experience with Linux is a plus.

  • Proficiency in PowerBI and Tableau is an advantage.

  • Experience with one or more reporting tools and big data storage platforms.

  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.

  • Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

  • Ability to work effectively under high pressure regarding timelines and deliverable quality.

  • Strong capability, proactive work ethic, and high sense of responsibility; consistently complete assigned tasks well
