JOB DESCRIPTION 

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer with solid experience in financial services to act as the key bridge between Singapore-based stakeholders and the Vietnam development team

• Analyze product requirements, user stories, and design documents to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, severity levels, and supporting evidence (screenshots, logs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues efficiently.
• Participate actively in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Verify bug fixes and conduct re-testing to ensure complete resolution.
• Validate backend data integrity by querying MongoDB for verification purposes.
• Perform cross-browser testing to ensure consistent user experience.
• Support UAT and coordinate with stakeholders for final sign-off.
• Report testing progress, coverage, and quality metrics to the QA Lead and relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, documentation standards, and best practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

• 3 – 4 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC.
• Experience writing detailed test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
• Familiar with defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, etc.).
• Knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Experience testing web applications across multiple browsers.
• Familiarity with MongoDB or NoSQL databases for backend validation.
• Basic understanding of TypeScript and Playwright is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Excellent English communication (verbal & written). 

Nice to Have

• Experience testing blockchain/Web3 applications (EVM chains like Ethereum, Arbitrum, Avalanche or Solana).
• Familiarity with crypto wallets (MetaMask, Phantom), token transfers, DeFi/NFT flows.
• Understanding of smart contract interactions and blockchain explorers (Etherscan, Solscan).
• Exposure to test automation concepts (Playwright, TypeScript).
• Experience in mobile testing (iOS/Android).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git/GitHub.
• Experience with performance or load testing.
• Exposure to cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
• ISTQB Foundation certification is a plus.
