JOB DESCRIPTION 

You will join a lean, modern software project built on AWS Serverless, full-stack TypeScript, and professional engineering practices. This is a high-ownership role where you are expected to contribute across the entire software development lifecycle — not just write code.

## Key Responsibilities

Analysis & Design

• Actively participate in requirement clarification with stakeholders, asking the right questions to reduce ambiguity and delivery risk
• Produce clear technical documentation: API design, data models, flow diagrams
• Provide realistic effort estimates and flag risks early

Back-end Development

• Build REST APIs using Hono on AWS Lambda
• Define and manage AWS infrastructure with CDK (TypeScript): API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, Aurora Serverless, SQS, S3
• Integrate authentication flows with Okta and Cognito

Front-end Development

• Build user interfaces with React + TypeScript + Vite
• Implement styling with Tailwind CSS and DaisyUI
• Handle API integration and client-side auth flows

Quality & Testing

• Write unit and integration tests using Vitest
• Perform manual testing to validate output quality before handoff
• Participate in code reviews, uphold code quality standards with Biome
• Leverage AI coding assistant (Kiro) effectively in daily workflow

Agile Scrum

• Attend and contribute meaningfully to all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Standup, Sprint Review, Retrospective
• Break down tasks independently and provide accurate story point estimates
• Proactively communicate progress and surface blockers early — don’t wait to be asked
• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to clarify acceptance criteria before starting implementation
