JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Data Scientist to build and operate data systems that support business analysis and decision-making. This role combines data analysis, data pipeline development, data modeling, and BI visualization to transform data into valuable insights that drive business strategy.

1. Data Analysis & Business Insights
  • Analyze data using statistical and advanced analytical methods to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Deliver actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and support business strategy.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand data needs and enable effective data-driven decision-making.
2. Data Platform & Data Pipeline Development
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for collecting, processing, and integrating data from multiple sources.
  • Develop and manage data collection systems and databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Build and maintain data warehouses / analytics data stores to support reporting and analysis.
3. Data Modeling & Architecture
  • Design and maintain data models to support analytics and operational needs.
  • Develop data architecture solutions that ensure scalability, performance, and seamless integration with BI and analytics platforms.
4. BI & Data Visualization
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to help stakeholders easily understand and use data.
  • Present analytical findings, insights, and recommendations clearly and effectively.
5. Data Quality & Data Governance
  • Perform data validation, cleansing, and monitoring to ensure high data quality.
  • Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy policies.
6. Continuous Improvement
  • Continuously improve data analysis processes and data platform performance.
  • Adopt best practices and emerging technologies in data analytics and data engineering.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree in Data Science, Software Engineering, Analytics, or a related field is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
    – Data Analytics
    – Data Engineering
    – Data Science
  • Software Engineering related to data.
  • Preferred Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis.
  • Experience with ETL / ELT processes and data pipeline development.
  • Experience working with Data Warehouse or Data Lake architectures.
  • Familiarity with BI and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
  • Understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance
