JOB DESCRIPTION 

We are seeking a team of Data Analysts to join the insurance/financial services project.
This role focuses on transforming business requirements into actionable insights through data analysis, dashboard development, and reporting solutions. The candidate should have strong SQL skills, solid analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate closely with Data Engineers and business stakeholders.
An understanding of data warehouse structures and basic knowledge of data engineering concepts is required to work effectively in a modern data platform environment.

1. Business Requirement Analysis

  • Work with business stakeholders (Sales, Operations, Underwriting, Claims, Finance…); 
  • Translate business questions into analytical problems; 
  • Define data requirements and KPIs.  

2. Data Analysis & Insight Generation

  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA); 
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies; 
  • Deliver actionable insights to support business decision-making. 

3. Dashboard & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain dashboards using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.); 
  • Build automated reports for business monitoring; 
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports.  

4. Data Validation & Quality

  • Perform data validation and reconciliation; 
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers to resolve data issues; 
  • Support data quality monitoring.  

5. Performance & KPI Monitoring

  • Design KPI frameworks for business units; 
  • Monitor performance metrics (sales performance, customer retention, claims ratio, etc.); 
  • Provide periodic performance analysis reports. 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

1. Core Analytics & Technical Skills

  • Strong SQL skills (complex joins, aggregations, window functions); 
  • Experience working with Data Warehouse environments; 
  • Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts; 
  • Familiarity with data pipelines and data models. 

2. BI & Dashboarding

  • Experience with at least one BI tool (Power BI/Tableau/Looker); 
  • Ability to design intuitive and business-friendly dashboards. 

3. Experience & Soft Skills

  • 3–5 years of experience as Data Analyst; 
  • Strong communication skills (English required); 
  • Ability to present insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders; 
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment; 
  • Detail-oriented and business-driven mindset; 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; 
  • Ability to work closely with Data Engineers.

PREFERRED SKILLS

1. Technical Skills 

  • Basic Python skills (Pandas, NumPy) for data analysis; 
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query); 
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP); 
  • Experience working with large enterprise datasets; 
  • Experience with predictive analytics or statistical modeling. 

2. Domain Knowledge

  • Experience in Insurance or Financial Services; 
  • Experience building KPI dashboards for financial institutions.
