JOB DESCRIPTION

• Discuss business requirements and collaborate with other English-speaking Business Analysts to prepare requirement specifications, Q&A documents, and product feature demos.

• Communicate and align on overall project status, including progress, timeline, and general quality.

• Support interpretation during technical discussions. Technical topics such as solutions and technical challenges will be prepared in advance by the Project Tech Lead; direct Q&A will be conducted during meetings with the participation of the Tech Lead/Specialist Developers for real-time collaboration.

• Support hosting and welcoming Japanese clients during their visits to the project team or GEM office.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Proficient Japanese language skills in all four competencies (listening, speaking, reading, writing), JLPT N2 or above.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Experience in communicating and negotiating with clients; good understanding of Japanese business culture and mindset.

• Ability to write meeting minutes and requirement specifications.

• Ability to create wireframes/mockups; experience using supporting tools or AI translation tools is a plus.
