ANZ Market Development Intern

What you’re walking into:
GEM Corporation is a Vietnamese digital engineering firm with over 400 engineers and a track record delivering for global clients across financial services, healthcare, and technology. We’re now building our presence in Australia, one of the most competitive and exciting tech markets in the Asia-Pacific; and we’re looking for someone to grow that pipeline alongside us.
This isn’t a support role. You won’t be formatting slides or sitting in on calls you weren’t invited to. You’ll be doing real outbound work, researching the right companies, reaching the right people, and running the outreach campaigns that open doors for our senior team to walk through.

What you’ll own:
- Research and build a live pipeline of target companies and decision-makers across ANZ enterprise: technology, financial services, healthcare, and professional services
- Plan and run outbound email marketing campaigns from end to end: targeting, sequencing, copywriting, and performance tracking
- Drive LinkedIn outreach and engagement with senior stakeholders at target accounts, building GEM’s presence in a market where we’re still relatively new
- Engage directly with prospects across channels and qualify interest
- Keep the CRM sharp and up to date so nothing falls through the cracks
- Contribute to pitch materials, capability decks, and account research that support live commercial conversations
Who We’re Looking For:
- Final-year students or recent graduates in Business, Marketing, International Business, or related fields. Candidates from international universities or international programs are preferred.
- Strong interest in business development, sales, and international markets.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken (equivalent to IELTS 7.0+), with the confidence to engage directly with native English-speaking professionals.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
- Open to feedback and eager to learn and continuously improve.
- Commercially curious, results-oriented, and willing to take ownership of outcomes.
- Previous experience in sales, lead generation, outreach, customer-facing roles, or internships is a plus, but not required. We value potential, initiative, and drive more than a perfect CV.
