JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and governing application deployments and releases across IT systems. Ensures on-time, low-risk releases without disrupting business operations, coordinating internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders – especially in mass production and quality testing environments.

  • Deployment Planning & Schedule Management:
    – Plan and manage deployment schedules across Dev/Test/Prod.
    – Coordinate timelines with Development, QA, Operations, and vendors (incl. automated deployment teams).
    – Validate release readiness; manage dependencies and resolve conflicts.
  • Impact Assessment & Release Coordination
    – Conduct pre-deployment impact and risk assessments.
    – Evaluate cross-application/environment dependencies.
    – Adjust schedules based on risk, impact, stakeholder readiness, and availability.
    – Ensure no interference with testing plans, especially mass production quality testing.
  • Deployment Execution & Governance
    – Act as primary coordination point during deployments.
    – Lead Go/No-Go reviews and release calls.
    – Monitor execution in real time; resolve issues during windows.
    – Keep all stakeholders informed.
  • Customer Impact & Post-deployment
    – Manage activation/deactivation of splash or customer-facing pages.
    – Coordinate internal/external communications as needed.
    – Perform post-deployment validation and stability monitoring.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years in IT PMO, Release Management, or Deployment Coordination.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
  • Proven multi-system, multi-environment deployment coordination.
  • Strong management of timelines, dependencies, risks, and impacts.
  • Excellent English communication; lead release meetings and Go/No-Go.
  • Willing to support US time zones.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD and automated deployments.
  • Preferred (Nice-to-have):
    – Enterprise IT, Manufacturing, or Production systems experience.
    – Knowledge of quality validation and mass production testing.
    – Experience with Change/Release Management tools.
    – Korean language skills.
