JOB DESCRIPTION

GEM is looking for Back-end / Integration Engineers to design, develop, and maintain healthcare system integrations. The role involves working with HL7 v2 messages, FHIR resources, and implementing solutions using Microsoft BizTalk Server and Logic App.

• Analyze, design, and develop HL7 v2 messages (ADT, ORM, ORU) and FHIR resources (Patient, Encounter, Observation).
• Perform data mapping and transformations based on business requirements.
  Implement integration solutions using Microsoft BizTalk Server and Logic App, including BizTalk Mapper (schemas, maps, functoids) and orchestrations.
• Design and implement messaging & integration patterns: pub/sub, FIFO, request/response, fire-and-forget, retry, dead-letter queue, etc.
• Work with at least one messaging platform: Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Kafka, MSMQ, or equivalent.
• Develop and maintain solutions using C# / .NET, integrating with REST/SOAP APIs.
• Manage logging, tracking, and relational database (SQL) operations.
• Support debugging, monitoring, and troubleshooting for integration flows.
